RHODES, Alice R. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Alice Rogers Rhodes of Danville, Illinois, age 73, died Thursday morning, October 29, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville. She was born in Covington, July 23, 1908, the daughter of Flava and Myrtle Rogers Tittle. April 11, 1925, she married Howard Rhodes, who died June 9, 1961. A member of St. James United Methodist Church and past matron of Eastern Star in Danville, she was a graduate of Covington High School and was employed in sales for Ted Brinkman Real Estate in Danville.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Anne Bonick of Michigan City; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hauck, Mrs. Julia Hendrickson and Mrs. Mary Louise Hack, all of Danville, Illinois; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville. – thanks to S
