COVINGTON – Marion (Dusty) Rhoades, age 71, of 330 Walnut St., Clinton, father of Mrs. Millard (Rosalee) Allen of Covington, died at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Terre Haue at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19. He was born in Clinton Jan. 25, 1896, and he was a retired foreman for the Public Service Co. of Indiana. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Rosedale American Legion and the First Christian Church of Clinton. Survivors include: his wife, D. Emma; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Jarvis of Terre Haute and Mrs. Allen of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Delores Hildebrant of Jackson, Mich., and Mrs. Helen Pierce of Racine, Wis.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Frist Funeral Home in Clinton. The Rev. Victor Koontz officiated. – jlr
