Attica — Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at the Roemer Funeral Home for W. Rex Reynolds, age 40, of 301 E. New St. in Attica, who died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been ill six days. The Rev. Burl Shinkle officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. Born Aug. 10, 1923, in Attica, he was the son of George and Lida Epperson Reynolds. He was married in 1944 to Betty Booe, who survives. Mr. Reynolds was a graduate of Williamsport High School with the class of 1941. He operated a service station from 1941 to 1947 and then moved to Veedersburg where he resided for nine years and operated a taxi service. He returned to Attica and entered the advertising business. Prior to his death, he had been employed at Scott's Shell Service. Other survivors include his parents at his home; three daughters, Mrs. Douglas Ogborn of Attica, Vickie and Kathy, both at home; five brothers, George of Kramer, Albert and Thomas, both of Attica, Victor of Attica Rt. and James of Honolulu, Hawaii; his grandmother, Mrs. Edna Bleeker at his home; and a grandson. - typed by Walt W.

W. Rex Reynolds, age 40 of 301 E New St, Attica, a former resident of Veedersburg died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday Sept 3 in the Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been ill six days. Mr. Reynolds was born Aug 10, 1923 in Attica, the son of George and Lida Epperson Reynolds. He was married in 1944 to Betty Booe who survives. He was a graduate of the Williamsport HS with the class of 1941. He operated a service station six years from 1941-1947 and then moved to Veedersburg where he lived for 9 years. While living in t his community, Mr. Reynolds operated a taxi service. He returned to Attica and prior to his death he had entered the advertising business employed at Scott’s Shell Service. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Mrs. Douglas Ogborn of Attica; Vickie and Kathy both at home; five brothers, George of Kramer, Albert and Thomas both of Attica; Victor of Attica Rt and James of Honolulu, Hawaii; his grandmother, Mrs. Edna Bleeker at his home and one grandson.
