Covington – Shirley Ann Strawser Reynolds, 53, a homemaker of Rt 1, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 in Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born Jan 22, 1940 in Indianapolis, she was a life resident of the Covington area where she was educated. Mrs. Reynolds was a laborer with General Electric in Danville, Ill for several years. She enjoyed reading, hunting mushrooms and fishing. Her marriage was to James Robert Reynolds in Covington July 28, 1957. He survives. Also surviving are a son, James David Reynolds of Tyler, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Patrick Joseph (Michelle Lynn) Carpenter of Danville, Ill; and two brothers, Raymond L. “Beanie” Strawser of Darlington and Elmer F. Strawser of Wickenburg, Ariz. Services will be Monday in Williamsport.
