Hillsboro - Floren Reynolds, 86, a former resident of Hillsboro died Tuesday in Brethren Nursing Home at Flora. Mr. Reynolds was a retired farmer and a member of Modern Woodsmen and Hillsboro Christian Church. He was born 8 December 1890 at West Lebanon to Morton and Amanda Kidwell Reynolds. He was educated in west Lebanon Schools. He was married to Kathryn Hinton who preceded him in death in 1920. He then married Nora Kerr Oct 13, 1923. She died July 22, 1971. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Jean Reid of Flora and Mrs. Darlene Jane Pugh of Montrose, Colo; a son, James E. of Los Altos, Calif; three sisters, Mrs. Berniece Crawford of West Lebanon; Mrs. Hazel McKee of Oakwood, Ill and Mrs. Goldie Kirts of Waynetown; a brother Ralph of Plymouth, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Crumley Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro with Rev. Jerome McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.
