The funeral of Clinton Reynolds will occur from the home of Mr. & Mrs.
Charles Ellis on W. Market Street on Thursday afternoon at 3 and will be
conducted by Rev. Earle Wilfley, pastor of the Christian Church.
Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery

The announcement of the death of Clinton Reynolds came as a surprise to
many citizens this morning, as he had not been reported ill. His sudden
demise was due to pneumonia. He complained some on Saturday but saw no
doctor or took no medicine until yesterday when he went to the LL Culver
Uni on Hospital. His condition did not alarm his friends as he told Mrs.
Lant LONG, a sister at 4 o'clock that he was feeling comfortable. He
grew worse early in the evening and continued to do so until one, when
he die d. He was the son of Harris Reynolds and was a member of a family
of four children. Mrs. James H. Watson and Mrs. Lant long, of Kankakee,
Ill survive. Austin Reynolds, who died several years ago, was prominent
in Democratic politics and served as county clerk. The deceased was also
active in the ranks of the Democratic party. Until 3 weeks ago since his
father's death 3 years ago the deceased made his home with Mr. & Mrs.
George Myers, who reside 3 miles from town on the Yountsville Road. He
has been he re since looking after some work he had on hand in his line
of business. he was a gravel road and cement contractor. The deceased
was born at Wallace but has lived here many years. He was 58 years old
and unmarried. The funeral will take place on Wed. afternoon very likely
at the home of M r. & Mrs. Myers on the Yountsville Road. Interment at

Note:  Born 27 April 1848 in Wallace, Fountain County, Indiana died of
pneumonia, Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville, Union Township,
Montgomery County, Indiana

Son of Harris Reynolds (born NC) and America Jarvis (b. KY).
