COVINGTON —Mrs. Margarete E. Rennick, age 87, a former resident of Covington and mother of Lee Rennick, died at 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, at the Red Oak Nursing Home in Michigan City. She had been a patient there seven weeks. Mrs. Rennick was born Dec. 15, 1881, in Fountain County, the daughter of George and Rose Teegarden Allen. She was married to George W. Rennick, who preceded her in death Oct. 5, 1944. She was a member of the Nazarene Church. Surviving, in addition to the son here, are: two other sons, Ralph of Michigan City and Washington of California; one brother, Homer Allen of Punta Gorda, Fla.; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Carlisle Funeral Home in Michigan City at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial was in Swan Lake Cemetery at Michigan City. --typed by Walt W
