RENNICK, George Washington

George Washington Rennick, 62, retired Cates laborer died at 3;13 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis following a heart attack. Mr Rennick had been ill the past week. Born Jan 5, 1882, in Fountain County, Mr. Rennick was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Percy Foster Rennick He had been a resident of Cates for about 17 years. Surviving are three sons, Lee of Covington, Ralph of Cates, and George Jr. in California; and five sisters, Mrs. Lou Johnson of Danville; Mrs. Rose West of Cates; Mrs. Isabelle Cates of Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Kathryn Redenbaugh and Mrs. Margaret Redenbaugh and Mrs. Margaret Redenbaugh, both of Danville. His wife preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the United Brethren Church at Cates. Burial in Snoddy cemetery with Crumley Funeral Home in charge    -- kbz
