Veedersburg - Winfield Thomas Renick, 83-year-old retired Sterling farmer, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Rudicel Nursing Home in Covington where he had lived the last 17 months. Born at Somerset, KY, May 4, 1881, he was a son of Richard and Abigail Morrison Renick. He was married to Ema Chapp Jan 15, 1911. She die din 1963. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Bonnie Renick, also a patient at the nursing home; a sister, Mrs. Ada Smith, a patient at Westbrook Nursing Home in Crawfordsville; a brother, Saul Renic in the Alward Nursing home in Attica, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sever Mortuary here, with interment in Rockfield Cemetery. Rev. Conley Rowland will be the minister. Friends may call after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.

VEEDERSBURG -- Funeral services for Winfield Thomas Renick, 83-year-old retired Sterling farmer, who died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sever Mortuary here. The Rev. Conley Rowland officiated and burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, southeast of Sterling. Mr. Renick, who had been a patient in the nursing home 17 months, was born at Somerset, Ky., May 4, 1881, the son of Richard and Abigail Morrison Renick. He was married Jan. 15, 1911 to Emma Chapp, who preceded him in death in 1963. Survivors include: one daughter, Miss Bonnie Renick, also a patient at the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington; one sister, Mrs. Ada Smith, a patient in the Westbrook Nursing Home in Crawfordsville; and one brother, Saul Renick, in the Alward Nursing Home in Attica; and several nieces and nephews. --typed by Walt W
