REMSTER, Nellie - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  Nellie M. Remster of Hillsboro, age 91, died Tuesday afternoon, June 14, in Lane Nursing Center at Crawfordsville. She was born in Fountain County, March 11, 1892, the daughter of Jasper D. and Lavina Hysong Timmons. January 11, 1912, she married Holford M. Remster, who died November 6, 1969. Mrs. Remster was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the Builders Class and Fountain County Farm Bureau. She was a charter member and former teacher of Come Join Us Class. She had served on the Roadside Council for several years.

  Surviving are two daughters, Wilma Parker of Springs Village, Arkansas, and Eloise Shade of Hillsboro; a granddaughter and four great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Gil Hubbard officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – thanks to s
