VEEDERSBURG — Eldon Remster, 90, a farmer in the Veedersburg area for many years, died Thursday. He had been in poor health for some time. He was born near Veedersburg on Nov. 3, 1883, the son of Smith and Indiana Remster. Surviving are a half-brother, George A. Remster of Veedersburg, and a niece and nephew. A brother and a sister are deceased. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Clyde K. Hunter of Mellott officiating. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.   --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) – Eldon Remster, 89, of Veedersburg Route 3, died Thursday (May 24, 1973) at his home. He had been ill for several years. Born near Veedersburg, Nov. 3, 1883, he was the son of Smith and Indiana Remster. A resident of the Veedersburg area all his life, he attended Veedersburg Schools and was a farmer. Survivors include a half-brother, Geroge A. Remster of Veedersburg Route 3; a niece and a nephew. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with the Rev.
