Mrs. Bertha Ann Reid, age 67, a life resident of Danville, sister of Mrs. Ross (LaVonne) Merryman, 915 Crocket St., died Wednesday morning, Sept. 15 at her home in Danville, where she had lived 41 years. She had been ill several years. Survivors include the husband, Clarence; two sons, Walter and Harley, Danville; and three sisters, Mrs. Merryman of Covington and Mrs. Katherine Mills and Mrs. Augusta Stitt, Danville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, Sept. 16, at the Barrick & Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Don C. Goodwin officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. -- typed by Walt W
