REESE, Thelma Mickle - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Thelma Louise (Mickle) Reese, 82, 805 Union St, Attica, died at 12:56 p.m. Oct 27, 1995 in Community Hospital, Williamsport. She had been in failing health for the past two years. She was born in Veedersburg Feb 1, 1913, the daughter or Ira and Carrie Roland Mickle, Sr. She married Benjamin Lee Reese, May 7, 1932 in Veedersburg. He preceded in death April 18, 1962. She was a life resident of Fountain County and had lived most of her life in Attica. She had formerly worked at Radio Material Corp in Attica, retiring in the 1970s. She had attended the Attica Free Methodist Church. She loved to bake and crochet. Surviving are four sons: Robert Lee Reese and Larry Reese, both of Attica; Tom Reese and Donad Reese, both of Veedersburg; three daughters, Marge Howard, Williamsport; Juanita Lowery, Attica; Annabelle “Ann” (Steve) Ward, Ft. Worth, Texas; a brother, Ira “Bud” Mickle, Jr, Attica; 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Louise. Funeral services will be held at Maus Funeral Home, Attica at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) with Rev. Marcos Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Foundation. – kbz  (thanks to Marsha P)
