ATTICA — Larry D. Reese, 59, 807
S. Brady St., Attica, died at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in St.
Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. He was born Nov. 1, 1946 in Attica, the
son of Benjamin Lee and Thelma Louise (Mickle) Reese. He married Sandra "Sandi”
S. Trent Dec. 13, 1970 in Attica. She survives. He was a life resident of
Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1966. He formerly worked at
Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica and more recently had been working at
MasterGuard in Veedersburg. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict serving
in the U. S. Air Force. He formerly attended the Attica Free Methodist Church.
He enjoyed woodworking and coin and stamp collecting. Survivors, besides the
wife, include: three daughters, Nikki Reese, Betsy Reese and Lindsay Reese, all
of Lafayette; two brothers, Tom (Diane) Reese and Donald Reese, both of
Veedersburg; and three sisters, Margie Howard, Williamsport, Jauanita (Jack)
Wurtsbaugh, Attica, and Annabelle “Ann” (Steve) Ward, Ft. Worth, Texas. Funeral
services were at 1 p.m. Sunday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Pastor Tom
Brown officiating. Burial with military honors was in Riverside Cemetery,
Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or
