Trula Jean Reed, 35 of Georgetown, Illinois died Saturday Aug 17, 1996 in an auto accident on SR 234 west of Cayuga. Born March 12, 1961 at Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Richard and Jeri (Perry) Hunt. Trula had been a resident of Georgetown since 1988 and was a former resident of Veedersburg Rt 2. She was a receptionist for Dr. MR Ochon in Danville, Ill. She married James Michael Reed on Feb 11, 1995 and he survives. Also surviving along with her parents are her stepfather, Earl Robbins, Sr; two daughters, Holly and Shauna Hancock at home (Georgetown); one sister, Mildred Robbins of Georgetown; one brother, Earl (Leslie) Robbins Jr of Veedersburg and three half brothers, Richard Michael Hunt, Darring Hunt, both of Veedersburg and Joey Hunt of Elkhart. Visitation was Monday at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Service there on Tuesday. Interment in Coopers Chapel Cemetery. – kbz (thanks to Marsha P)

Georgetown, Ill – Trula Jean Reed, 35, died Aug 17, 1996 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident on Indiana 234, west of Cayuga. She was born March 12, 1961 at Indianapolis, the daughter of Earl and Jeri Perry Robbins, Sr and Richard Hunt. She married James Michael Reed Feb 11, 1995. He survives. She had been a resident of Georgetown since 1988 and a former resident of Rt 2, Veedersburg. She was a receptionist for Dr. MR Ochoa in Danville, Ill. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Holly and Shauna Hancock at home; her father, Richard Hunt, her mother, Jeri Robbins, her stepfather, Earl Robbins, Sr all of Veedersburg, a sister, Mildred Robbins, Georgetown, a brother, Earl Robbins, Jr, Veedersburg and three half brothers, Richard Michael Hunt, Darrin Hunt, both of Veedersburg and Joey Hunt, Elkhart. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with the Rev. James Blue officiating. Burial will be in Coopers Chapel Cemetery.- kbz (thanks to Marsha P)
