Mrs. Sarah Leatherman Reed, 80 years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Campbell t Newtown, early Saturday of infirmities of old age. Mrs. Reed was the widow of the late Dan Reed, a cabinet maker and undertaker of Newtown, who preceded her in death about 20 years ago. Mrs. Reed leaves five daughters, Mrs. George Glover of Veedersburg; Miss Grace Reed, Indianapolis; Mrs. Walter Beaver, Minneapolis; Dr. Carrie Reed of California who was about to sail for Italy and Mrs. Robert Campbell of Newtown. Mrs. Reed was born and reared in Newtown. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Newtown. Funeral services were held Monday interment at Newtown. - kbz
