Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Reed at her home in Mobile, Alabama on December 12. Mrs. Reed was a former resident of Veedersburg where her husband had a butcher shop for many years until their move to Alabama. Mr. Reed passed away a few years ago. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frances Ferris of Mobile, and a son, Robert Reed of San Antonio, Texas. – jlr
