REED, Otto - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Otto Reed, 86, of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, died at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 4 in his home. He was a retired Fountain County truck farmer. He was residing with a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Jones, at the time of his death. Mr. Reed was educated in Fountain County schools and was a member of West Liberty Christian Church. Born June 8, 1889, in Fountain County, he was a son of Joseph and Susan Buckley Reed. He was married to Mary Maude McKinney, who died in 1965. Surviving with the daughter are two half-brothers, Brent French of Muncie, Ill., and Daniel French of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services were Thursday in Powers Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Miller officiating. Burial was in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
