Veedersburg, Aug 10 – Harry L. Reed, 27, a brother of Mrs. Arch Pugh, of Veedersburg and a native of Fountain County was killed in an airplane crash at Houston, Tx Sunday evening according to word received here by his sister. The message gave no details of the accident. Reed was a son of Edgar A. and Bessie Lakam (sic – believe it is Labaw) Reed and was born near Newtown. For several years he had lived at Houston where he was employed as chief mechanic at an airport. He was married less than a month ago. Funeral services and burial were to take place at Houston. - kbz
