VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) — Clyde Reed, 76, of Veedersburg, Ind., died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday (July 3, 1971) at Lake View Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for six hours and in ill health for three years. Born June 19, 1895, in Fountain County, Ind., he was the son of Willis Perry and Emma May Lindquist Reed. He married Aline Jones Feb. 20, 1929 in Newport. She survives. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg, the Veedersburg Volunteer Fire Department for 42 years, and had retired after 35 years at the Fountain County Co-Op. Other survivors include two sons, Dale D. of San Francisco, Calif., and Larry L. of West Liberty, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Ethel) Taylor and Miss Helen Reed, both of Veedersburg; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg with Bill Keller officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg.   --typed by Walt W
