Veedersburg, March 16—Miss Alina Reed, 80, died about 10 o’clock Thursday night at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville from the effects of a broken hip and complications. Miss Reed suffered the fracture last Saturday when she fell on the back porch of the home she occupied with her brother, Thomas Reed, here. She had been in the hospital ever since. She was a native of Fountain County, having been born on a farm just south of here and spent her entire life in this vicinity with the exception of a few years when she lived in Waynetown. She was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by her brother and several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. - S
