Mary L. Redmond, 93, of Crawfordsville died at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in Carmen Nursing Home. A homemaker, her memberships included Garfield Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for 40 years and was a member and past president of the Ladies' Aid. She was a Red Cross volunteer worker and attended Smartsburg HS. She was born Sept 26, 1897 in Fountain County to James W. and Minnie Diefenbarker Switzer. On April 6, 1921, she married Merle H. Redmond who survives. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Fred (Anna Faye) Stevenson of Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister are are deceased. Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Wallie Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown, Masonic Cemetery.
