Walter Lee Redmon, Jr. 59, Crawfordsville, died 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mr. Redmon worked for RR Donnelly & Sons as a press technicial. He served in the Air Force from 1966-70. Reserved 1970-72 as an electrician from 1968-69 in Udorn, Thailand, serving with the Red Horse command. He was also a member of Friendship Baptist Church and VFW 1434. He was born May 19, 1947 at Crawfordsville to Walter Lee and Mary H. Lowe Redmon. He graduated from Waynetown HS in 1966. On Dec 27 1972 he married Judy Lynn Stoddard at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are his mother; one son, Jason Lee (Brandy) Redmon, Indianapolis; one daughter, Jamie Lynn (JJ) Spencer, Rawlins, Wyo; one brother, James H. (Vicky) Redmon, Mill Hall, PA; three sisters, Connie (Steve) Stemick, Westerville, Ohio; Sharon (David) Zimmerman, Wingate; Karon (Allen) Gooding, Kingman; five grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services are scheduled 1 p.m. Tuesday in Friendship Baptist Church, 1914 West US 136 with Pastor Curtis Brouwer officiating. Burial will follow at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may visit 4-8 pm. Monday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church. Online condolences huntandson
