Deward C. Redenbaugh, 49, of 114 Vance Lane, died at 9:15 a.m. Monday (Aug. 3, 1970) at Lake View Memorial where he had been a patient three days. He had been in ill health for several years. Born Feb. 19, 1921 in Fairmount, he was the son of Charles and Nina Nehemiah Redenbaugh. Mr. Redenbaugh was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Danville and was past president of the Vermilion County Blind Association. Surviving is his widow, Madge Pearman Redenbaugh; his parents of Kingman, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Harvey of Delavan; a brother, Gerald Redenbaugh of Covington, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Woolwine of Kingman and Mrs. Fauniel Perry of Covington. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Donald Redenbaugh. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Newport Friends Church with the Rev. Gordon Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery at Newport. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday.   – jlr
