WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) -- Ira J. Rector, 83, of 25 Boyer, Williamsport, died early today (Dec. 7, 1968) at the Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington. He had been a patient there several months and had been ill two years. Born July 28, 1885, in Fountain County near Attica, he was the son of Loss and Louisa Doty Rector. He was married in 1926 at Benton Harbor, Mich., to Forrest Burdict, who died in 1948. Mr. Rector resided near Attica for 43 years before moving to Janesville, Wis., where he was employed by the Fisher Body Works for 30 years. He returned to the area 10 years ago and had resided with a sister, Mrs. Alice May, at 25 Boyer, Williamsport. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church at Janesville, Wis. Survivors include a son, Myron of Attica; and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Knowles of Lafayette and Mrs. May. He was preceded in death by two sons. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Rex Marrs will officiate. Burial will be in Boswell Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday.   --typed by Walt W
