RAYPHOLE, Phyllis Shumaker

Covington, Ind. Mrs. Phyllis Elma Rayphole, 42, died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday May 10 1961, at her home on Covington Route 1. She had been ill two years. Born June 3 1918 in Fountain County, she was a daughter of Grant and Ruby Orahood Shumaker. She was married in 1935 to Arnold R. Rayphole, who survives. Also surviving are her mother of Covington Route 1, a son Michael R. at home; two brothers, Dean Shumaker of Covington Route 1 and Duane Shumaker of Veedersburg Route 2, and a sister Mrs. Virginia Dark of Veedersburg Route 2. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother a sister and a son. She was a member of the Stringtown Church of God. She was a lifetime resident of the Stringtown area. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Friday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Shunn officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery
