RAYPHOLE, Lillian Drake - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG — Lillian G. Rayphole, 94, rural Veedersburg, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2000 in Covington Manor Health Care Center.  She was born Feb. 23, 1905 in Kingman, the daughter of Ora and Nettie Barker Drake. She married Harley Rayphole Dec. 27, 1936. He preceded in death Sept. 30, 1981.  She was a former teacher. She was a 1924 graduate of Kingman High School.  She was a member of the Yeddo Eastern Star and the Royal Neighbor Lodge.  Survivors include: a son, Marion Rayphole, rural Veedersburg; a niece; and a nephew.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wilford.  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman, with Kenneth Majors officiating. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery east of Yeddo. – jlr
