Kingman - Harley Rayphole, 89, of Kingman, died in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville Wednesday. He was there one day. He was a retired section foreman of Nickle Plate Railroad. He was a 50-year member of Yeddo Masonic Lodge and Yeddo Eastern Star. He was born Sept 15, 1892 in Fountain County to George and Mary SHanks Rayphole. He was married on Dec 27, 1936 to Lillian Drake who survives. He is also survived by a son, Marion of Rt 1, Veedersburg. He was preceded in death by a brother. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodrow Funeral Home here with the Rev. Eston Brook officiating. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. = kbz

Harley Rayphole of RR 1, Veedersburg, age 89, died Wednesday, September 30, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born in Fountain County, September 15, 1892, the son of George and Mary Shanks Rayphole. He was married to Lillian Drake, who survives. A lifelong resident of the Yeddo community, he was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and retired as foreman on the Nickle Plate Railroad.

  Also surviving are a son, Marion; and a nephew, Arnold Rayphole of Covington.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery. -s
