Ernest T. Rayphole, age 78, a resident of the Yeddo community and father of Mrs. Schuyler (Eileen) Allen of Covington died at 7:45 a.m. Monday October 3 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville Ill. Mr. Rayphole was born in Yeddo April 6, 1888, the son of Bayles & Anna (Brunker) Rayphole. He was a retired farmer and member of Yeddo Masonic Lodge 636. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Allen of Covington; one son, Ernest R. of Yeddo; two brothers Grover of Veedersburg and John of Tucscon, Az; 3 sisters, Mabel of New Tucson Az and Flossie and Dollie both of Ill. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Oct 5 at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated with burial in Centennial. Masonic rites held at the graveside. -- kbz

Kingman, Ind - Ernest T. Rayphole, 78, died yesterday (Oct 3, 1966) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville where he had been a patient five days. Born April 6, 1888 in Yeddo, he was the son of Balif (sic - Bayles) and Anna Brunker Rayphole. He was a retired farmer and member of Yeddo Lodge 636 F&AM. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Schuyler (Irene) Allen of Covington; a son, Ernest Jr. of Yeddo; two brothers, Grover of Veedersburg and John of Tucson, Ariz; three sisters, Mabel of New Tucson; Flossie of Sorento, Ill; and Dolly Hutts of Charleston, Ill; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery with Masonic rites by Yeddo Lodge.
