Covington – Funeral services for Mrs. Edna F. Rayl, age 74, of Danville, Ill mother of Mrs. James (Ellen) Flick of Covington who died Friday morning Oct 27 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville were held at 10 a.m. Monday at he Barrick & Son Funeral Home there. The Rev. Frank Brown officiated and burial was in Sunset Memorial Park north of Danville. Mrs. Rayl who had been a hospital patient 26 days had resided in Danville 44 years. Shew as born Sept 16, 1893 in Ranklin, Ill the daughter of Ira and Nellie Eals Foley. She was last employed by Danville Sportswear Co. Surviving in addition to the daughter in Covington are: one son, Gilbert Rayl of Danville; three sisters, one brother, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. – kbz
