VEEDERSBURG, Ind. -- Mrs. Elizabeth Coats Ray, 72, a former Fountain County resident, died Monday (Oct. 9, 1978) at the home of her son, Charles W., in Jeffersonville. She had been ill several years. She was born in Fountain County, the daughter of William and Edna Glascock Coats. She was a graduate of Kingman High and Lake View Hospital School of Nursing in Danville. In 1930, she was married to Harry Ray, who preceded her in death. Other survivors include a brother, Charles T. Coats of Venice, Fla.; three half-brothers, Francis Coats and William Coats, both of Waynetown, and Eugene Coats of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Foster and Good Funeral Home in Rochester. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
