RAY, Edward E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Graveside services were held July 26 in the National Cemetery at Veterans’ Administration Medical Center in Danville, Illinois, for Edward E. Ray of rural Oakwood, Illinois. Ray, age 52, died February 2, 1981 at the center, where he had been a patient for four years. At the time of his death, his body was donated to science and the remains were buried after this service.

  Ray was born in Covington, May 17, 1928.

  Survivors include a daughter, Stella Christie of Danville, Illinois, and a son, William of Broadlands, Illinois.
