Billy H. Ray of Kingman, age 74, died Wednesday afternoon, January 26, of an apparent heart attack while pitching hay from a barn. He was born at Toledo, Illinois, January 13, 1908, the son of Thomas and Alice Yocum Ray. Ray was a farmer and horse buyer.
Survivors include a son, Jerry of RR 1, Kingman; a sister, Bessie Baker of Villa Grove, Illinois; three brothers, John and Ivan, both of Car Margo, Illinois, and George of Tuscola, Illinois; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. Dennis Keefer officiating. Burial was in Hugo Community Cemetery near Tuscola. – thanks to s
