Mrs. Helen Isabelle Rauchbach, age 72, a resident of the Gessie community, west of Covington, for the past 44 years, died unexpectedly at 12:15 p.m, Wednesday, Nov. 9, at her home. Death was attributed to natural causes. Mrs. Rauchbach was born Feb. 1894, in Vigo County, the daughter of Allen and Rose Eddington Gosnell, She was married in 1912 to John J. Rauchbach, who survives. She was a member of the Gessie EUB Church Ladies Aid, Royal Neighbors Camp 1607 and Perrysville Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: three sons, Jack of Dana, William of Danville and Hobart at home; one sister, Mrs. Louise Gosnell of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Hobart of Rosedale Rt.; two granddaughters and one great-grandson. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Ivan Steed officiated and burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery, southwest of Covington.   -- typed by Walt W
