Darrell Rathburn, age 55, of Peoria., Ill., son of Mrs. Carolee Brubaker Rathbun and the late Renzo Rathburn of Covington, died unexpectedly about 6 a. m. Tuesday, July 24, at the Peoria Caterpillar plant, where he was employed as a foreman. He was born Feb. 7, 1907 near Portland, Ind., in Jay County. Mr. Rathburn had resided in Peoria, Ill., about 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Jeanie; three sons, James, John and Joe; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Macy and Mrs. Uva Haas, both of Danville, Ill., Mrs. Thelma Flesher of Attica and Mrs. Gay Wright of Farmland; his mother; and a grandson. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Wiltons Funeral Home in Peoria. Burial will be in Peoria. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Flesher of Attica, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Karl Flesher of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Don Flesher and daughter of Crawfordsville, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haas and daughter and Mrs. Russell Macy and sons of Danville, Ill., the Rev. and Mrs. Lemoine Wright and daughter of Farmland and Mr. and Mrs. Walton Wright of Muncie attended the funeral of James Darrel Rathbun in Peoria, Ill., Friday afternoon, July 27. Mr. Rathbun, age 55, son of Mrs. Carole Rathbun and the late L. R. Rathbun of Covington, died unexpectedly at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning, July 24, at the Caterpiller Tractor Co., in Peoria, Ill., where he had been employed the past 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie; three sons, Jim, John and Joe; his mother, Mrs. Rathbun; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Flesher of Attica, Mrs. Gay Wright of Farmland, Mrs. Uva Haas and Mrs. Mary Macy of Danville, Ill., and one grandson. --typed by Walt W
