RATCLIFF. Flora "Ratcliff"

Mrs. Flora Ratcliff, 81, died at 11:05 a.m. Thursday at her home in Kingman after a short illness.  She underwent an operation at Culver Hospital two weeks ago. She was born near Kingman Sept 30, 1869, the daughter of David and Sallie Marshall Ratcliff. She was married to John Ratcliff, who preceded her in death.  She was a member of the EUB Church, the EUB Ladies Aid, the Order of Eastern Star and Daughters of Union Veterans.  Surviving are two stepdaughters, Miss Gleela Ratcliff of West Lafayette and Mrs. Opal Moffett of Rockville.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the EUB Church with Rev. IC Alderton officiating.  Mrs. Alderton furnished the music accompanied by Miss Patty Burch.  Pall bearers were Ross Ratcliff, Scott Ratcliff, Arbon Orahood, George Stipp, Gordon Zackmire and George Cory, Jr.  Flower bearers were Mrs. Maude Cory; Mrs. Mary Stern; Mrs. Eva Sanders; Mrs. Bertha Cook, Mrs. Carrie Ratcliff; Mrs. Essie Outlaw; Mrs. Fred Dickason; Mrs. Sylvia VanDuyn; Mrs. Capitola Lindley; Mrs. Ella Starkery; Mrs. Edith Lindley and Mrs. Linda Alward.  Burial in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery with GW Spencer in charge.  --thanks so much to Bren M and ~~~Transcribed and Type by kbz
