RATCLIFF, Ola Jane Wright - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg, Mrs. Ola Jane Ratcliff, 83, of Veedersburg died at 11:30 pm. Saturday in Lane Nursing Care Center at Crawfordsville. She had been a resident there since January. Mrs. Ratcliff had been employed by Gross Truck Stop Restaurant at Sterling 27 years and for several years at Highland Court. She had lived at Veedersburg since 1935 and attended Sterling Christian Church. Born Oct 16, 1895 in Taylor Co KY she was a daughter of John Wesley and Lutisha Beard Wright. She was married to Everett Ratcliff of Taylor County on December 26, 1917. He died in April 1975. Survivors are 4 sons, Joe of Wingate; Vester of Indianapolis; Charles of Sugar Mill Lake, Rt 1 Hillsboro and James of Veedersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Chamness of Marshall; two sisters, Mrs. ida Hedespeth of Campbellsville Ky and Mrs. Edna Johnson of Louisville; a brother, Earl Wright of Campbellsville 22 grandchildren and 28 greats.   --kbz
