KINGMAN, Ind. -- Mrs. Nora Ratcliff, 72, of Kingman Rt. 1, died unexpectedly early Monday, Aug. 2 at her home. Death was attributed to a stroke. Born Dec. 5, 1898, in Homer, Ill., she was the daughter of Jake and Mary Taylor Manning. She was married Jan. 1, 1921, to Harry G. Ratcliff, who survives. Mrs. Ratcliff was a member of the United Methodist Church and Ladies Aid Society. Other survivors include a son, Harry G. Jr., of Kingman; two brothers, Don Manning of Denver, Colo., and Wilbur Manning of Urbana; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie English of Fisher, Ill., Mrs. Mary Lynch of Homer and Mrs. Fern Miller of Fairmount; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan, and a brother. Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. The Rev. Luther Page officiated. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. --waw
