RATCLIFF, Nelda Barkley

Mrs. Nelda Ratcliff, 39 years old, daughter-in-law of the late Judge Omer B. Ratcliff of Covington, died Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Lafayette. She was ill one week with an abdominal ailment.
Born June 6, 1905 in Covington, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Smith Barkley, Mrs. Ratcliff was married August 5, 1922 to Ernest Ratcliff who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Delores, the father and stepmother of Covington. Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Covington Christian Church with Rev O.W. McGaughey of Veedersburg officiating. Burial was at Mt. Hope Cemetery. --- transcribed by kbz
