Chula Vista California – Mildred L. Ratcliff died Saturday, June 25 in Chula Vista following a brief illness. She had lived in California for the past year. She was born Feb 20, 1915 in Murphysboro, Ill. She lived most of her life in Indiana in the Portage and Crawfordsville area. Mrs. Ratcliff was married to Denver Eugene Ratcliff in Crown Point and he died in 1987. She was retired from Kroger supermarket in Portage. She had been retired for the past 15 years. Surviving are three sons, Donald Mohrs of Chula Vista, Calif; Dr. Paul E. Mohrs of West Lafayette and a stepson, Warren Ratcliff of Farmland and a daughter, Judith Marconi of Anaheim, Calif. - kbz
