RATCLIFF, Latitia - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  Latitia S. Ratcliff of Bloomingdale, age 91, died Tuesday night, May 10, in Castle Shannon Nursing Home. She was born in Parke County, November 25, 1891, the daughter of John B. and Sara Armstrong Swaim. August 22, 1912, she married Odus Ratcliff, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ratcliff was a member of Tangier Ladies Aid and was a retired telephone operator.

  Surviving are three daughters, Kitty Hankins of Attica, Marie Wittenmyer and Betty Bryant, both of Bloomingdale; two sons, Thomas of Bedford and Robert of rural Rockville; a son-in-law, Harold Woodrow of Attica; a brother, Ralph Swaim of Tangier; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Rice Funeral Home in Marshall with Rev. Ruth Isaacs officiating. Burial was in Tangier Cemetery. – thanks to S
