RATCLIFF, Julia Allen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown - Mrs. Julia Ann Ratcliff, 89 died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at Mapleview Nursing Home, Crawfordsville where she had been since November. She was born on June 10, 1877 in Marion Co KY. Mrs. Ratcliff was the daughter of John and Maggie Allen. In 1894, while in KY she married AG Ratcliff who preceded her in death. Although Mrs. Ratcliff lived in the Waynetown community for 30 years she retained membership in the Mt. Washington Baptist Church, Ky. She is survived by four sons Everett Ratcliff of Veedersburg; Will of Clinton, Raymond of Crawfordsville and James of Waynetown. Another son, Andrew preceded her in death. Also surviving are two daughters, Ruth Bennett and Margaret Livengood both of Waynetown; two sisters, Mattie Sullivan and Mollie Jo Whitlock of Illinois and a brother, Alonzo Allen of Ky. Services will be held 2 pm. Saturday at Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Myron Hinton of the Waynetown Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
