Veedersburg - Everett E. Ratcliff 77 of Rt 3, Veedersburg died at 7:45 a.m Sunday in Lakeview Hospital, Danville, Ill where he had been a patient since Wed. He was retired from Veedersburg Power & Light Co and prior to that had been a farmer. Mr. Ratcliff was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Born June 10, 1897 in Taylor Co KY he was a son of Albert G and Julia Allen Ratcliff. He was married to Ola Wright on Dec 26, 1917. She survives. Surviving are four sons, Joe of Wingate; Vester of Indianapolis and Charles and James of Veedersburg a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Chamness of Marshall; two brothesr, Raymond C'ville and James of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Livengood of Waynetown; 23 grandchildren and 18 great. A son, daughter, two brothers and a sister are dec. Serv at 1030 a.m. Wed in Sterling Christian Church with Rev. Kenneth Stith offic. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown after 2 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
