Cliston Ratcliff, age 39, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ratcliff of 717 Second St., and a former resident of Kingman, died Friday, March 11, after brain surgery in Good Samaritan Hospital at Phoenix, Ariz. He was born near Kingman Aug. 21, 1920, the son of Claude and Mabel Teague Ratcliff, and was married Sept. 2, 1940 to Anna Marie Coffing, who survives. Mr. Ratcliff and his family moved to Arizona from the Kingman community 11 years ago. He had lived in Phoenix for the past several years. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: one son, Edward; one daughter, Rosalie; his parents; one sister, Mrs. William Shaffer of Danville, Ill.; and one brother, Delbert, of Kingman. Cliston L. Ratcliff, 39 of 3244 E. Cypress died yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital.  Mr. Ratcliff, a Phoenix resident the past 5 ½ years was employed by AiResearch 2 ½ years as a fab controller. He was a native of Kingman, Ind. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. William Bostrom and the Masonic Funeral Committee at 10 a.m. Monday in Chapel in the Garden, Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas.  Mr. Ratcliff was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Kingman and Elks Lodge.  He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie; a daughter, Rosalie and a son, Edward, both of Phoenix; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ratcliff, Covington, Ind; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Shaffer, Danville, Ill and a brother, Delbert, Kingman.
