Mrs. Carrie E. Ratcliff, 77, died at her home in Kingman late Monday night, Dec 2, 1963. She suffered a coronary heart attack several weeks ago, but had recovered and was able to return home from the hospital Nov 22. Her condition had improved and death came unexpectedly. Born near Carbon, April 6 1886, she was the daughter of the Rev. John and Rebecca Knauer McHargue. In 1906 she married Clem Ratcliff, who preceded her in death April 6 1949. Mrs. Ratcliff was a member for more than 60 years of the Kingman EUB church. She was also a member of the EUB Ladies Aid, the EUB Women's Society of Christian Service and the NGo Birthday Club. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Wright of Kingman; a grandson Larry Dean Wright of Chicago; a sisters, Mrs. Bertha Cook of Kingman and nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother and sister. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the EUB church with the Rev. Ray Bedwell officiating. Burial was in the Harveysburg Cemetery with the Woodrow Funeral Home in charge. --kbz
