The remains of   MRS  S.M. RATCLIFF  arrived on the evening train yesterday from Tucson, Arizona, her death having taken place at that place on last Sunday. Readers of the Star will remember that on the 15th of last month the deceased was taken to the above named place in the hopes of regaining her health.  She has been afflicted for a number of years with that dreaded disease consumption and every effort has been made to restore her health, but to no avail. Deceased is the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Lindley and leaves a husband, two daughters and a host of other friends to mourn her sad loss.  She has been a resident of this vicinity almost all her life and was loved by every one who had the pleasure of knowing her.  Up to the time of going to press, we are unable to state at what time the funeral will be held. – s
