RATCLIFF, Albert G. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown-- AG Ratcliff, 76, died Wednesday afternoon at 3:05 o'clock at his home on the County Line Road 3 miles southwest of here. He had been in failing health for three years and death was attributed to a circulatory ailment. Born Dec 29, 1875 in Marion Co KY he was the son of Arch and Ruth Arvin Ratcliff. He married Julia Allen in marion Co KY Sept 22, 1894. A farmer most of his life, he was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Campbellsburg, KY. Surviving are the widow; four sons, William of Rockville, Everett of Veedersburg, Raymond of Hillsboro and James of Waynetown; two daughters, Mrs. Manning Davis and Mrs. Gilbert Bennett, both of near Waynetown; 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Grenard & Servies Funeral Home here. Rev. Harvey s. Burns will officiate and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
