RANDOLPH, Stephen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Newtown, Nov 5 – Stephen RANDOLPH, 63, prominent retired merchant died at his home here early Saturday morning after a lengthy illness. Death was due to cancer of the stomach. Mr. Randolph for many years was in business here. He spent his entire life in this vicinity with the exception of 2 years in Covington and 3 during which he lived in Greencastle. The survivors include the widow, one son, Allen (Greencastle) and a grandson. The funeral services will be held at the Newtown Methodist Church Monday morning at 10 in charge of Rev. Homer Ivey of Crawfordsville, assisted by Rev. CC Rockwell, pastor of the local Methodist Church.   -- kbz
