RANDOLPH, Mrs. Ora Burnside

Mrs. Ora Burnside Randolph, 75, Covington, Rt 1, died at 12:30 o'clock Saturday in Lake View Hospital, Danville, where she had been a patient since June 30. Death was the result of injuries received at her home
when a truck backed into her and knocked her against a gate.
At an inquest held by Coroner John Cole, death was found to be due to a fractured pelvis and shock.
Mrs. Randolph was born in Fountain County on March 4, 1869, the daughter of John Burnside of Virginia and Nancy Lewis of Canada. She was married May 27, 1890 to Fred Randolph. The couple moved to Lerna (?) Ill in 1895 but returned to Fountain County in 1900.
Mrs. Randolph was a member of the Covington Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors Lodge and a charter member of Alpha Omega Sorority in DePauw University, Greencastle. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence with Rev. Earl Pittinger, of Garrett, Indiana officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery
