Mrs. Margaret J. RANDOLPH, wife of former county commissioner Harrison Randolph died Tuesday night about 11:30 at her home on Washington Street. She had been in poor health for several years and about 4 weeks ago she was stricken with paralysis which affected her entire left side. She was born in Montgomery County near Linden 79 years ago but has been a resident of Fountain Co since her marriage to Mr. Randolph. They formerly lived on a farm north of the city but have resided in town for the past 9 years. Besides the husband, she is survived by two daughters, one son and many friends who will sincerely mourn on account of her death. The children who survive are Mrs. Lottie Riley and Mrs. Lulu Sowers of Milford, Ill and Stephen Randolph of Newtown. The deceased was a devout Christian and had been a member of the Methodist Church since she was 9. The funeral was held from the home Thursday morning, Rev. EW Strecker officiating. Interment was in Silver Island Cemetery in Fulton Township.

Covington, Ind Feb. 17 – Mrs. Margaret J. Randolph, age 79, is dead of paralysis at her home here.  Her husband, Harrison Randolph is former county commissioner.  He and three children, Mrs. Lottie Riley and Mrs. Lulu Sowers of Milford, Ill and Stephen Randolph of Newtown survive.
